Stories From The Road
Hello Everyone,
I have been around the world a couple of times since I left Dallas a few years ago. I have met so many amazing people in the places I have visited. I have seen, heard, and experienced some of the most awe inspiring musicians and felt the beauty of the music created from these gifted artists in many cultures. These experiences have been a gift from God and have forever changed my understanding of the power of music and the importance of what I deliver each time I am invited to sing.
I have created this blog space in order to give those I have met and or performed for, an opportunity to express how they have been touched by my music. Feel free to express how you feel and know you will be heard. I am also looking for submissions to be included in my first book.
If you have a story about what music does for you I would love to read it. It does not have to be about me or a performance of mine. I would like to hear from those touched by the beauty of strong lyrics and the voices of gifted singers who express lyrics with a real understanding of the importance of what they do for their listeners.
We love anything that makes us feel good, smile, dance, and we even like a sad song every so often. But we always love great lyrics, and always love a great voice. So go all you Musicians!! Gives us a smile or two! We are listening.
My team will be posting some video of me on Youtube.com over the next few days. Let me know what you think.
I love singers who make me feel what they sing. I would like to know who you think the great singers are. What do you consider a great song and why? What life changing event was accentuated or magnified by a special song? What concert did you attend where the singer left a lasting impression on you? Where were you driving and had to pull over because the song was so powerful you needed to experience it without the distraction of driving. That has happened to me several times. This happened to me the first time I heard Lisa Fisher sing "How Do I Ease the Pain". I was driving down highway HH in the Missouri countryside on my way to The Lodge Of Four Seasons with my wife and had to stop the car to experience the unbelievable vocal dexterity of this amazing songstress. I still listen today after these years and am moved. I believe her when she sings.
What does music mean to you?
For those of you who have heard my music, I want to hear your stories about how my music may have touched you as well.
Thank you and Welcome to "Stories From The Road"
My new book will be out very shortly and will chronicle my stories and a few wonderful stories I have heard on the road from others. I look forward to passing them on to you. I assure you, it will bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart. People are amazing!!

I just returned from a Mediterranian Cruise on the Norwegian Jade. I was there with 16 family members, 6 brothers and sisters and spouses and my 85 year old mother. My father died 2 years ago. He was a singer and entertainer (male quartets, dance bands in the 40's in small town Alberta) One of my first memorites was listening as his quartet practised in our living room and catching the mystical magic of music. My husband and I are both music teachers and music has been a huge part of the joy of life with our 8 children, and now 16 grandchildren. It was a first cruise for all of us. The first time I walked past the lounge and heard you sing and play I was transfixed! We spent many nights listening to you until the wee hours. I consider those times to be a highlight of our fabulous trip together. Thanks so much for your music and your spirit. We loved it! I just listened to "Ill
Be Seeing You" on the net. It is one of my mom's favorite songs, and now one of mine!
